In a few weeks school will be back in its varied forms and styles. I was thinking that some parents may decide to pack lunches instead of sending kiddos through the lunch line. So...drum roll please!
Low effort lunches disguised as fun and fancy lunches.🤪
Before you roll your eyes take a close look at these. It’s actually the same things over and over again. (I am that kind of mom!)
These are lunches I used to make for Michael and Gabriel when they were younger. They loved them and I loved making them because they look fancy but they aren’t. It’s super easy!
Get one item from each group:
1. Grain
2. Protein
3. Fruit
4. Vegetable
Shove them in a box. Cut if needed. 😂.
These took 5 minutes to make. Every lunch is PB&J except one, which is rolled up turkey slices. 🤫The trick to keeping these neat is to pack them tightly by filling in all the empty spaces with small things like raisins, seeds, candy😜, or anything that’ll pour in there. They might look small but you’d be amazed at how much food can get in these.
I hope these spark some creative ideas for parents as we brave this new frontier in education. Whatever you decide to do just know that we’re in this together!
Love,
Danita
